POLISHING COMPOUNDS
POLARSHINE® POLISHING PRODUCTS
Polishing guidelines
Use recommended pad and compound combination for best result.
To optimise the lifetime of the pads, clean regularly with water.
Recommended polishing speed 1,200–2,000 rpm.
Water can be used as a cooler and lubricator during the polishing
process.
Spread compound on a sufficiently small area.
Keep the compound from drying while polishing; dry compound can
burn the surface.
Let the polish and the weight of the buffer do most of the work.
Keep the pads clean, a dirty pad will cause scratches.
To avoid overheating and to achieve an even finish, keep the buffer in
motion.
